My goals in each bar:

safe to use for your whole family;
a conditioning bar that stands up well in the warm and moist environment of the shower;
smells great; and
affordable.

All our soap is handmade using the Cold Process method.

Every recipe is made by us and tested on us.

We don't use ANY nut oils. At all. EVER.

I started making soap when I thought it would be fun to take a soap making class with my wife.

I was the only guy in the class, and I just wanted to make a nice bar of soap for myself.

My main goal was to make a bar that made me smell “nice” without smelling “pretty”.

I made many different batches substituting this oil for that and testing them on myself first, and then giving bars away to my friends, family, and coworkers and getting their feedback.

Pretty soon people started asking me for more soap and asked if I was willing to sell soap.
